Ann began her career as a medical/surgical social worker (MSW) in New York City before relocating to Connecticut. Recognizing a passion for working with older adults, she went on to earn a second graduate degree in Human Development and Gerontology from the University of St. Joseph. Ann served as a care coordinator for Care at Home by JFS, the non-medical home care division of Jewish Family Services of Greater Hartford, where she also gained experience in care management.
Ann personally understands the challenges facing clients and families, having been the primary caregiver for an aging parent while raising young children. This balance of professional and lived experience informs her work. She is guided by principles that honor the dignity and well-being of each client. Each individual has a unique history and story to share, and Ann is honored to be a part of their story.
